Hydro-Electric Corporation Regulations 2016

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Hydro-Electric Corporation Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Hydro-Electric Corporation Regulations 2016 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Interpretation

In these regulations –

Act means the Hydro-Electric Corporation Act 1995 .

4.   Installed capacity

For the purposes of the definition of major power facility in section 8(4) of the Act, the limit fixed is 100 megawatts.

5.   Expiry

These regulations expire 2 years after they commence, inclusive of the day on which they commence.
