I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games) Enforcement Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games) Enforcement Regulations 2006 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on 21 August 2006.

3.   Interpretation

In these regulations –
GST has the same meaning as in the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 of the Commonwealth.

4.   Fee for application under section 70(1) of Act

(1)  For the purposes of section 70(2)(c)(ii) of the Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games) Enforcement Act 1995 , the fee for an application for an exemption is 20 fee units.
(2)  The fee specified in subregulation (1) is GST inclusive.
