Proclamation under the Roads and Jetties Act 1935

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 7 of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935  –

(a) revoke the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1978, No. 41; and
(b) amend the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1970, No. 67 by –
(i) omitting, from Part I of the second Schedule to that proclamation, the description and length of the Lady Barron Main Road as specified in that Schedule; and
(ii) substituting the description and length specified in the Schedule to this proclamation; and
(c) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

From the junction of the Flinders Island Airport entrance road with Palana Road near Whitemark to the Lady Barron port gates at a point approximately 140 metres south of the junction with Franklin Parade, Lady Barron (via Palana Road, Lady Barron Road and Main Street, Lady Barron)
