Electricity Supply Industry Amendment Regulations 2009

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Electricity Supply Industry Act 1995 .

PART 1 - Preliminary

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Electricity Supply Industry Amendment Regulations 2009 .

2.   Commencement

(1)  Except as provided in this regulation, these regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.

(2)  Part 3 takes effect on the seventh day after the day on which the making of these regulations is notified in the Gazette.

7.   Principal Regulations

In this Part, the Electricity Supply Industry Regulations 2008 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

Notified in the Gazette on 16 September 2009

These regulations are administered in the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources.
