Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Environment Protection Authority) (Consequential Amendments) Act 2007

An Act to consequentially amend certain Acts on the enactment of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Amendment (Environment Protection Authority) Act 2007

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1.   Short title

This Act may be cited as the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Environment Protection Authority) (Consequential Amendments) Act 2007 .

2.   Commencement

This Act commences on the day on which the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Amendment (Environment Protection Authority) Act 2007 commences.

SCHEDULE 1 - Consequential Amendments

The amendments effected by Section 3 and this Schedule have been incorporated into authorised versions of the following Acts:

(a) Fire Service Act 1979 ;

(b) Forestry Act 1920 ;

(c) Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993 ;

(d) Major Infrastructure Development Approvals Act 1999 ;

(e) Marine Farming Planning Act 1995 ;

(f) Mt Lyell Acid Drainage Reduction Act 2003 ;

(g) Pollution of Waters by Oil and Noxious Substances Act 1987 ;

(h) Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal Act 1993 ;

(i) Water Management Act 1999 .
