I make the following order under section 5(4) of the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Mineral Resources Development (Exemption) Order (No.  2) 2006 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Land exempt from Mineral Resources Development Act 1995

The areas of land specified in Schedule 1 to this order are declared to be exempt from the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 .
SCHEDULE 1 - Exempt Areas

Clause 3

All those areas of land in the land district of Russell comprising about 375 hectares shown hatched and bounded by heavy black lines on Plan 7173 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Schedule 2 to this order.
