Public Health (Exemption) Order 2005

I make the following order under section 187(2) of the Public Health Act 1997 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Public Health (Exemption) Order 2005 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on 1 January 2006.

3.   Exemption from section 67B(1)(e) of the Public Health Act 1997

An area approved under regulation 5 of the Public Health (General) Regulations 2005 as an approved smoking area is exempt from the application of section 67B(1)(e) of the Public Health Act 1997 .
