Proclamation under the Duties Act 2001

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 227(1)(d) of the Duties Act 2001  –

(a) declare that the following are exempt from the payment of all duties under that Act:
(i) Nursing Board of Tasmania;
(ii) Parliamentary Superannuation and Retiring Benefits Trust;
(iii) State Fire Commission;
(iv) Tasmania Development and Resources Board;
(v) Tasmanian Ambulance Service;
(vi) Tasmanian Library Advisory Board;
(vii) Tasmanian Secondary Assessment Board;
(viii) Tasmanian State Training Authority;
(ix) the Trustees of the Tasmanian Botanical Gardens;
(x) the Trustees of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery;
(b) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
