Proclamation under the Local Government Amendment Act 1999

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 2(1) of the Local Government Amendment Act 1999  –

(a) revoke the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 2000, No. 161; and

(b) fix 7 November 2000 as the day on which sections 80, 82, 86 and 87 of that Act commence.
