Proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 15C(2) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970  –

(a) give the name Narawntapu National Park to the reserved land previously named as Asbestos Range National Park by Statutory Rules 1991, No. 68 and shown on Plan Number 4869 in the Central Plan Register; and

(b) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
