Proclamation under the Egg Industry Act 1988
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Egg Marketing Board, by this my proclamation made under section 39(1)(a) of the Egg Industry Act 1988 declare that
31 May 1999(a) all eggs produced for sale on and from 1 July 1999 are to (i) be divested from the producers; and(ii) become vested in, and be the absolute property of, the Egg Marketing Board as owner; and(b) any eggs produced for sale that come into existence between 1 July 1999 and 30 June 2004 are to become vested in, and be the absolute property of, the Egg Marketing Board as owner; and(c) this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
