Proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 15A of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970 –
28 April 1999(a) alter the names specified in column 1 of Schedule 1 to this proclamation, previously given under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970 to the areas of reserved land specified in column 3 of that Schedule, to the names specified in column 2 of that Schedule; and(b) alter the name previously given to Steppes State Reserve by the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1975, No. 326 to The Steppes State Reserve; and(c) give the name specified in column 1 of Schedule 2 to this proclamation to so much of the relevant area of land specified in column 2 of that Schedule that was previously declared to be a State reserve under section 15(1) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970 and that has not been previously named; and(d) declare that this proclamation takes effect on 29 April 1999.
