I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Public Health Act 1997 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Public Health (Tobacco Seller's Licence) Amendment Regulations 2002 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the seventh day after the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Public Health (Tobacco Seller's Licence) Regulations 2000 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Regulation 4 amended (Fees)

Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after subregulation (1) the following subregulation:
(1A)  For the purposes of section 74F of the Act, the prescribed fee for an application for the renewal of a tobacco seller's licence is 75 fee units for each premises specified in the application.

These regulations prescribe the fee payable for an application for the renewal of a tobacco seller's licence.
