EXPLANATORY NOTE

These regulations –(a) prescribe, for the purposes of the Primary Produce Safety Act 2011 –(i) the food safety scheme in respect of seafood; and(ii) the accreditation requirements in respect of the production of seafood; and(iii) other miscellaneous matters in relation to seafood; and(b) rescind the Primary Produce Safety (Seafood) Regulations 2014.
