EXPLANATORY NOTE

These regulations –(a) prescribe matters in relation to smoke alarms in premises to which a residential tenancy agreement relates; and(b) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Residential Tenancy (Smoke Alarms) Regulations 2012 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992.
