Interstate Transfer (Community-based Sentences) Regulations 2022

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations, for the purposes of the Interstate Transfer (Community-based Sentences) Act 2009  –

(a) prescribe the Director, Community Corrections as a local authority for the purposes of that Act; and

(b) declare other jurisdictions in Australia to be participating jurisdictions for the purposes of that Act; and

(c) prescribe certain details about offenders and sentences that are to be included in the register of sentences kept by the Registrar under the Act.
