EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2021 by providing that –

(a) an entry in the Register of Approved Vehicles of the Commonwealth may in certain circumstances be accepted as evidence that a vehicle complies with the relevant vehicle standards; and

(b) the registration period for a motor vehicle, as a general rule, is to be 3 months, 6 months or 12 months.
