EXPLANATORY NOTE

These regulations amend the Traffic (Compliance and Enforcement) Regulations 2017 by –(a) updating certain references consequent on the commencement of the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2021 ; and(b) inserting a new offence under the Road Rules 2019 , for which an infringement notice may be issued under the Traffic Act 1925 .
