EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

(a) prescribe certain residential buildings not to be residential buildings for the purposes of the Residential Building Work Contracts and Dispute Resolution Act 2016; and

(b) prescribe solar panels, satellite dishes and rooftop wind turbines to be part of a residential building for the purposes of that Act; and

(c) set an amount as the maximum that may be charged as a progress payment under that Act; and

(d) prescribe certain fees and infringement notices and penalties.
