EXPLANATORY NOTE

This order amends the Nature Conservation (Open Seasons) Order 2004 by –(a) including a new muttonbird rookery of Swan Basin at Ocean Beach near Strahan as a rookery from which juvenile muttonbirds may be taken under a muttonbird licence during the 2016 open season; and(b) continuing an exemption for Hannants Bight, Pilot Bay and Trumpeter Rock, at Cape Sorell, from the rookeries from which juvenile muttonbirds may be taken under a muttonbird licence during the 2016 open season; and(c) updating a heading in the Schedule to the order.
