EXPLANATORY NOTE

These regulations provide for –(a) the Marine and Safety Authority to declare limited coast stations to be approved marine radio stations; and(b) the functions of an authorised person appointed under section 44 of the Marine and Safety Authority Act 1997 for the purposes of these regulations.
