EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the bylaw)
These by-laws make provision in respect of –(a) the objects of the Law Society; and(b) the use of the common seal of the Law Society; and(c) the admission, resignation and expulsion of members and associate members of the Law Society; and(d) the convening of and regulation of proceedings at ordinary general meetings and special general meetings of the Law Society; and(e) the convening of and regulation of proceedings at meetings of the Council, the executive committee of the Council and committees of the Council; and(f) the election of members of the Council and the tenure of their membership.
