EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the rule)
These rules provide, for the purposes of the Legal Profession Act 2007 –(a) for the academic qualifications and practical legal training required for admission to the legal profession in Tasmania; and(b) for the procedure for an overseas applicant or overseas practitioner to gain assessment and recognition of overseas qualifications and experience so as to be admitted to the legal profession in Tasmania; and(c) for other related minor matters.
