EXPLANATORY NOTE

These regulations –(a) prescribe certain lightweight craft as vessels for the purposes of the Marine and Safety Authority Act 1997 ; and(b) provide for the wearing of approved personal flotation devices by persons on certain lightweight craft and by persons being towed by motor boats.
