Fisheries (Scalefish) Amendment Rules 2009

These rules are administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the rule)

(a) extending their operation until 1 November 2014; and

(b) revising certain provisions relating to the taking and possession of certain fish, including octopus and shark; and

(c) providing in certain circumstances for non-commercial fishing by Aborigines without the need for a recreational fishing licence; and

(d) effecting minor statute law revision.
