EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations –(a) provide that the public places specified in the regulations are taken to be public places to which section 25 of the Police Offences Act 1935 applies during the periods and at the times specified in the regulations. (Section 25 relates to the consumption of liquor in public streets and public places); and(b) prescribe the amounts for the purposes of section 49(6)(a) of the Police Offences Act 1935 . ( Section 49 relates to permits for certain motor vehicle races and the policies of insurance required for those motor vehicle races).
