EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2000 by –

(a) increasing the fees payable for the issue or renewal of driver licences and for the issue of duplicate or replacement driver licences; and

(b) omitting the fees payable for the inspection of certain motor vehicles and trailers and prescribing the fees payable for the inspection of heavy vehicles.
