EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations prescribe –(a) the area of practice of a nurse practitioner as a restricted practice area; and(b) the qualifications, training and experience required of a nurse practitioner; and(c) the title of nurse practitioner as a title under which a person who is not a registered nurse or an enrolled nurse must not practise a profession or trade.
