Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Waste Management) Amendment Regulations 2005

These regulations are administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Waste Management) Regulations 2000 by –

(a) updating and revising certain definitions; and

(b) amending certain provisions in respect of –

(i) controlled waste; and

(ii) the disposal of general waste; and

(iii) environmental approvals; and

(iv) approved management methods; and

(v) prohibited activities at facilities; and

(c) rescinding the provision for the expiry of those regulations on 30 June 2005.
