EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Criminal Injuries Compensation Regulations 2000 by –

(a) renaming the regulations; and

(b) prescribing the maximum award payable in respect of criminal conduct; and

(c) making minor amendments to the requirements for applications for such awards.
