Veterinary Surgeons Regulations 2004

These regulations are administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations replace the Veterinary Surgeons Regulations 1988 ; they prescribe –

(a) the services that are excluded from the definition of "veterinary services"; and

(b) the persons who are exempt from the requirement to register as a veterinary surgeon; and

(c) the details that are required to be entered into the register; and

(d) the specialities relevant for the purpose of a person's entitlement to registration as a veterinary specialist; and

(e) the details and documents required in connection with applications for registration; and

(f) the fees payable for applications and registrations.
