EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Schedule to the Gas Infrastructure (Planning Permit Exemption) Regulations 2003; that Schedule –

(a) prescribes the kind of gas infrastructure development work that, if it meets specified criteria, does not need a planning permit under the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993; and

(b) specifies those criteria.
