EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

(a) rescinding a provision, relating to the payment of interest on overdue royalties, that is inconsistent with other amendments recently made to those regulations; and

(b) making a minor consequential adjustment to one of those recent amendments; and

(c) correcting certain legislative references.
