EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations provide for –(a) the construction, installation and use of vessels or structures used as a facility for the recovery of petroleum or for an associated purpose; and(b) the submission, revision and acceptance of safety cases for petroleum facilities relating to all matters affecting the safety of the facility; and(c) the contents of safety cases; and(d) the reporting of serious accidents and incidents; and(e) offences relating to the safe operation of a facility.
