Proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970

This proclamation is administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the proclamation)

(a) revokes certain previous proclamations that declared several areas of Crown land in the Central Plateau of Tasmania to be reserved land in the class of conservation area; and

(b) amends a previous proclamation by omitting the item relating to the Central Plateau Conservation Area; and

(c) declares certain areas of Crown land to be reserved land in the class of conservation area and gives the following names to that reserved land:

(i) Central Plateau Conservation Area;

(ii) Five Mile Pinnacles Conservation Area;

(iii) Great Lake Conservation Area;

(iv) Jones Rivulet Conservation Area;

(v) Liawenee Conservation Area;

(vi) Morass Bay Conservation Area;

(vii) Rainbow Point Conservation Area;

(viii) Rocky Point Conservation Area;

(ix) Tea-Tree Bay Conservation Area;

(x) Top Marshes Conservation Area.
