This proclamation fixes 1 December 2001 as the day on which the Traffic Amendment (Red Light Cameras) Act 2001 commences. A further, indirect, effect of the proclamation is that the Vehicle and Traffic Amendment (Red Light Cameras) Act 2001 will also commence on that day.
