Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Order 2001

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

(a) regulates the handling of veterinary chemical products by providing that the handling is to be carried out in accordance with the Code of Practice for the Supply and Use of Veterinary Chemical Products; and

(b) controls ground agricultural spraying of agricultural chemical products by providing that the spraying is to be carried out in accordance with –

(i) the Code of Practice for Ground Spraying and;

(ii) certain specified circumstances.
