Proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970

This proclamation is administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the proclamation)

(a) extends the Southwest National Park by about 180 hectares to include Maatsuyker Island; and

(b) extends the South Bruny National Park by about 90.3 hectares to include the lighthouse and surrounding land; and

(c) extends the Three Hummock Island Nature Reserve by about 58.2 square metres to include the lighthouse and surrounding land; and

(d) revokes a previous proclamation that declared Maatsuyker Island to be a conservation area.
