EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the rule)
These rules amend the Fisheries (Scalefish) Rules 1998 by –(a) omitting references to a fishing licence (shark gillnet) and a fishing licence (shark hook); and(b) permitting the holders of certain Commonwealth authorities to take unlimited amounts of certain scalefish; and(c) limiting the weight of certain scalefish that the holders of certain Commonwealth authorities and scalefish licences may take.
