Passenger Transport (Transitional) Regulations 2000

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations provide for certain savings and transitional matters consequent on the enactment of the Passenger Transport Act 1997 and related legislation, including  –

(a) the establishment of a scheme to ensure the continuity and efficiency of regular passenger transport services that are determined to be essential to the community; and

(b) the compensation arrangements that will apply to that scheme.
