Wildlife Amendment Regulations 2000

These regulations are administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Wildlife Regulations 1999 by –

(a) prescribing a penalty for taking protected wildlife; and

(b) revising regulations 11 , 20 , 28 and 29 to provide that those provisions will apply to partly protected, protected and specially protected wildlife; and

(c) substituting the Schedules relating to specially protected, protected and partly protected wildlife, prohibited animals, restricted wildlife and domestic stock.
