Notices made under the

COVID-19 Disease Emergency (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020

Notices were published in the Tasmanian Government Gazette, and took effect on the date they were published or a later date specified in the notice.

All of these notices are now revoked. Revocation of the notices occurred in one of the following ways, under the Act:

• some notices were revoked by a later notice, in accordance with section 11 of the Act - for example, Notice 2/2022 contained a provision that revoked Notice 2/2021;
• some notices were revoked 12 months from the day on which the notice took effect, or a shorter period if specified in the notice, in accordance with section 8(2) of the Act;
• any notices still in force on the emergency cessation day were revoked 60 days after that day, in accordance with section 8(3) of the Act. The emergency cessation day was declared to be 30 April 2023, see S.R. 2023, No. 3.
